Drive more authentic one-on-one conversations

quote one-on-one conversations

Employee exhaustion is at 85% while 61% of leaders say they’re “thriving” right now. 🤔Where is the disconnection?

Leaders need to build more authentic connections with employees to understand how to assist them and prevent attrition. The GAP approach can help you initiate your one-on-one conversations:

1)    Goal Setting

Define together with the team member the session’s goal to focus on one topic at a time and determine the urgency and estimated duration. You can start with “How are you handling?”

2)    Asking

Drive the conversation by asking questions, instead of stating what needs to be done or accomplished.

3)    Planning

Discuss alternatives to close the gap.
